Packer Opportunities from Guidance:
The Governor's School for the Arts is still looking to audition students from Isle of Wight that are interested in Theatre or Visual Arts. If you have an interest in either one of these areas, please contact your guidance counselor as soon as possible.
DUAL CREDIT COURSES
Students if you have an interest in taking dual credit courses, you may eligible to take these courses free of charge. Students must meet certain criteria in order to participate. You may contact Ms. Candice Artis, In-School Youth Programs Coordinator, at Paul D. Camp Community College, to get details on the program requirements. Her number is 569-6774 or you may email her at cartis@pdc.edu.

Seniors and Parents
Please be sure to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) as soon as possible. Many colleges have March 1st deadlines for the submission of FAFSA forms. If you have any questions, please see your guidance counselor.
ALSO, Seniors --
Any senior who has NOT placed a cap and gown order must go directly through Jostens to complete this ordering process. Letters were sent directly from Jostens to these seniors; however, there was a mistake regarding the website for Jostens ordering. Any senior who still needs to place an order should visit: www.celebrategrad.com

New Information about School Clubs:
FCCLA - Thursday, March 21st
FCCLA meeting on Thursday, March 21st at 3:00pm in room 90. All members are asked to bring an Easter basket, stuffed animal and candy and toys to make Easter baskets for the Genieve Shelter.
The Green Club meets in Room 25 at 3:00 p.m. on Mondays.
FBLA meet every Wednesday, 3:00 p.m.-
3:45 p.m. in room 74, Mrs. Betty Carter’s.
Cell Phone Policy:
When a student first violates the Possession of Electronic Device Policy of Isle of Wight County Schools (Policy JECR) and the phone has been confiscated, then the student and his/her parent must meet with an administrator to complete a cell phone contract. Administrators may be available in the afternoons from 3:00 to 4:00 to hold cell phone contract sessions with parents and students.
**Parents, please, call in advance to schedule an appointment with an administrator prior to coming to school to complete a first-offense cell phone contract.
After School Procedures:
**All students must be under the supervision of a coach, a sponsor, or a teacher by no later than 3:00 p.m. daily; students will not be allowed in the halls or in the commons after 3:00 p.m.
**All students must leave campus by no later than 4:00 p.m. daily unless they are under the direct supervision of a coach or a sponsor. Students remaining after school must have prior-arranged transportation to leave campus by 4:00 p.m. or at the immediate conclusion of school activities.
