The PSAT and SAT will be administered at Smithfield High School on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

Students currently enrolled at Smithfield High School in Grades 10 and 11 can only sign up to take the PSAT assessment. Juniors may take this assessment at no cost. Sophomores who sign-up will have a fee of $18. All senior have the opportunity to take the SAT. The fee for the SAT is $42. All students can sign-up for there appropriate assessment at the above links.

Registration will be open from September 18-October 9.


AP Exam Payments


Students taking AP exams must submit payment by October 30, 2025.

  • The cost is $99 per exam.

  • For students who qualify for free or reduced lunch, the cost is $62 per exam.

Preferred Payment Options:

  • Online through the Online School Payment (OSP) site, or

  • By check made payable to Smithfield High School.

  • We will accept cash payments

Checks can be turned in to the school bookeeper or Ms. Preau in the main office.


Please make sure payments are submitted by the deadline to ensure your exam order is processed.
