Congratulations to the SHS “Air Benders” KidWind Turbine Challenge team for winning second place in the State Kidwind/Renewable energy challenge last Saturday with a great performance of their turbine in the wind tunnel, along with a successful judges presentation and great scores on the knowledge quiz.
The Air Benders team that competed at State: Jaylen Marble, Liam Lutz, Katie Lutz and Emma Forbes. They are now invited to National Competition in San Antonio, TX on May 16-19!
Team Tool Possums, seniors Aiden Henry and Wyatt Langston, won third place in the State Kidwind Solar Challenge with their “solar powered beach mini-fridge”!
