SHS Late Work Policy

Practice (10%) - No Late Homework or Participation assignments will be accepted 

 

Growth (40%) - Late Growth assignments may be turned in up to 10 school days past the due date with a 10-point penalty each day the assignment is not submitted.  After the 10th day, students will receive a zero.

 

Mastery (50%) - Late Mastery assignments may be turned in up to 10 school days past the due date with a 10-point penalty each day the assignment is not submitted.   After the 10th day, students will receive a zero. 

 

Excused Absences
Students with a verified, excused absence will have 5 school days to complete any work assigned when they are not in school without penalty. Excuse Notes must be submitted within the 5 day grace period to the main office.

 

All students who are absent on the day of a scheduled assessment, may complete the assessment at a date and time determined by the teacher and student. Please contact the instructor for further details and/or questions.
