Smithfield High School JROTC, in collaboration with the Red Cross, conducted their final blood drive of the school year. Due to the kindness of students, cadets, and the Isle of Wight community, 75 pints of blood were collected. This remarkable contribution, along with the other three drives this school year, will result in saving up to 714 lives. Cadets collaborated closely with the Red Cross to ensure the event proceeded without any issues. Furthermore, successful donors were rewarded with a complimentary Q’Daddy’s coupon. Q’Daddy’s has generously provided coupons to our blood drives for years. Community support is a vital aspect of our drive. We extend our gratitude to the entire community for their backing of the blood drive and for uniting for such a significant cause. We appreciate all donors, as well as the Red Cross staff, who delivered outstanding service throughout the event.
