Information for Parents:

Please keep in mind that the mornings are the busiest time for laptop distribution. If you come during this time, you should expect to wait in line.

The Device Usage and Distribution Agreement must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian for a student to receive a school-issued laptop.

Students can pick up their laptops on or after their scheduled day, but not before.

Freshmen will receive their laptops during the first week of school.

Students with charges on their library account, including tech charges from SMS, will not be able to pick up their laptops until their account is cleared.

Information about insurance options will be available on site and on the SHS website.
Laptop distribution will take place in the SHS library on the dates listed below:
Monday, August 24 - Students enrolled in Virtual Virginia, GSA and GSST (1-3 p.m.)
Tuesday, August 25 - Seniors (8:30 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m.)
Wednesday, August 26 - Juniors (8:30 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m.)
Monday, August 31 - Sophomores (8:30 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m.)
Tuesday, September 1 - Transfer students (enrolled after 6/12/26) and returning students who turned in their laptops to SHS after 6/12/26 (11 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
