IWCS Closed June 19 for Juneteenth holiday Isle of Wight County Schools will recognize the state holiday on Wednesday, June 19, 2024.
Summer Work Schedules Begin June 17, 2024 All IWCS Schools and Offices will be open 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday. Buildings and offices will be closed on Fridays. IWCS will return to regular hours after Labor Day.

The graduation ceremonies for both Windsor High (10am) and Smithfield High (2pm) will be streamed LIVE by Liberty Live on Friday, June 14. The ceremonies will also be recorded. SHS Students Create Mural for Sentara St. Luke's Outpatient Campus More than 60 art and history students at Smithfield High School came together to create a mural in the community room of the Sentara St. Luke’s outpatient campus.
